Absolutely fantastic food

Sem dúvida o melhor restaurante de Albufeira. 3 meses a almoçar e jantar com colegas de trabalho e a sentir-nos como em casa. Todo o staff e proprietários súper profissionais e muito acolhedores. This has to be one of the worse places I’ve ever eaten in. The food was absolutely terrible despite the good reviews. Spoke to us very rudely and charged us an extra meal that we didn’t have, a steak it was only when I translated the receipt that we realised. A Great Little Find.
We found this restaurant whilst out walking in Sao Rafael and popped in to see if they had a table for 4 the following evening which they had. They asked if we wanted a table outside near the pool or just inside, we chose one inside. We arrived and were shown to the table and given the menu. There was a good choice of food including a selection of fresh fish. The waitress was very helpful and attentive which made our visit even more enjoyable. Pool day before flight home
Paid €10 per person to use the pool area for the day before a late flight home. We were given a towel and we’re able to use the shower area to change, although not the nicest as they were attached to the main customer urinals. We ordered several meals and snacks throughout the day which were all of a good standard, the fresh fish was very good and all food was fairly priced. Best pool restaurant ever - wonderful food brilliant friendly service 5 stars
Spent 10 days by the pool and can’t wait to come back - the food is amazing fresh seafood great service and the place is immaculate - Carla and family work so hard but they’re very welcoming and friendly. Many locals dine here at lunch which is always a good sign if locals enjoy it here too as well as holiday makers ! The previous review is obviously malicious as everyone we spoke to had nothing but great things to say about Casa Vela ! Une cuisine locale à portée de toutes les bourses
Etablissement très agréable, avec une carte assez large et des prix raisonnables. La responsable est hyper sympa et souriante ! Il s’agit d’une cuisine locale, de produits frais, et d’une clientèle moins touristique qu’ailleurs, ce qui signifie des prix bien plus bas également ! Le pavé de saumon ou la dorade pour une dizaine d’Euros, des choix de viandes pas beaucoup plus chers, et surtout une panoplie de desserts maison pour 2,5€/pièce pour la plupart (ils sont exposés dans le grand frigo vitré à l’intérieur, face au bar. RUDE AND SARCASTIC, HORRIBLE FOOD, TERRIBLE SERVICE.
We was charged for an extra meal and owner was beyond rude and sarcastic when we questioned this. Ignored for ages when asking to pay. Food was beyond vile (like something out of a dog tin). Hairs found in food, chef was seen spitting at the back of the restaurant and looking peeking at us from round the back of the restaurant in a very creepy way. Wouldn't ever step food in here again.
